[Hadria's Home Page]

[My Photos]

Welcome to my second home! I'm Hadria, the mistress of this site. These pages will contain many of my passions in life including music, art, travel, culinary arts, religion, etc. Since I've just moved to this site (for many reasons), I'm in the process of remodeling these pages. As a result, it will be a while before I can add new material.

A little about me: When I'm not using my computer, I spend most of my time reading, tending my garden [which is now on a second floor apartment on my lanai], going to the beach, exercising on my ski-machine and working out with Claudia Schiffer's exercise videos, and of course, studying the Craft. If you want to see more photos of me, click on the picture above.

Since I am now in college taking a large course load, I will no longer have the time to make frequent updates to these pages for at least 12 weeks (finals exams will begin July 29th). Then I'll be off to Brazil...

[Poem of the Month]

~Love~

by George Herbert (1593-1633)

Love bade me welcome; yet my soul drew back,
     Guilty of dust and sin.
But quick-eyed Love, observing me grow slack
     From my first entrance in,
Drew nearer to me, sweetly questioning
     If I lacked anything.

"A guest," I answered, "worthy to be here";
Love said, "You shall be he."
"I, the unkind, ungrateful? Ah, my dear,
     I cannot look on Thee."
Love took my hand, and smiling did reply,
"Who made the eyes but I?"

"Truth, Lord, but I have marred them; let my shame
     Go where it doth deserve."
"And know you not," says Love, "who bore the blame?"
"My dear, then I will serve."
"You must sit down," says Love, "and taste My meat,"
So I did sit and eat.
