The Planetary Hours

Determine the exact time of sunrise and sunset in your locality. Divide that period into twelve parts (that may be more or less an hour each—more in summer and less in winter) and treat the periods as the planetary hours. Similarly, the time from sunset to sunrise will divide into twelve parts to give the second twelve planetary hours.
